UI/UX intern

Product Team - Brisbane, CA - Full Time

NetEase is looking for a UX/UI design intern who can aid in defining the visual flow and usability of top tier mobile games in addition to creating the artwork and designs needed to bring them to life.
You will be working closely with Design and Production to deliver the best play experience possible to our players in a new massively multiplayer online role-playing game.
NetEase (NASDAQ:  NTES) is a major game and technology company headquartered in China. You will be part of the new North American division which has a dual focus on developing new games and adapting successful Chinese games to western markets.


Work within a diverse, multicultural team to develop the visual identity and design usability for games
Create artwork, guidelines, and interfaces used in products
Learn and understand existing games to help analyze issues and create solutions that enhance player experiences
Iterate using feedback to polish features to optimal efficiency and aesthetics


Knowledge of principles, conventions and trends for UI and player usability
Visual portfolio of interface designs, concept art, wireframes, storyboards
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Adapt to fast-paced environment with shifting deadlines
Eagerness to contribute to a team effort
Positive and enthusiastic attitude
Interest in staying current with user-centric design and visual trends


Reading and writing in Mandarin Chinese 普通话
Knowledgeable regarding MMORPGs
Experience developing mobile applications for either iOS or Android devices
