Video Producer / Editor

We’re seeking a talented Video Producer/Editor to work on-site at our Brisbane, CA office. The ideal candidate will work alongside the NetEase North America Marketing and UA teams to design and produce a variety of online media assets.  This is a critical role within our organization and this person will lead and build out the video studio team. 


  • Working in collaboration with the Marketing and UA teams to perform and execute the following tasks for various online media assets:
  • Concepts, storyboards, production and editing of game trailers from sneak peaks to app store trailers, launch trailers, video assets for PR and community.  
  • Design, production and editing of user acquisition (UA) video ads.  Collaborate with UA team on themes, templates, messaging and cut down variations. 
  • Community and social media video content.  Video guides, tips/tricks, patch updates, developer diaries, sizzle reels, etc.
  • Post-Production: color grading, sound design and mixing, encoding, mastering, archiving, etc.  Work with outside vendors/contractors for specialized services as needed. 
  • Prioritize, schedule and track work progress with content owners.

  • Applicant must have a very strong work ethic, possess outstanding multi-tasking skills, and consistently perform in a fast-paced and demanding, creative environment.



  • At least 5+ years of experience in multimedia design, motion graphics, video editing and animation.
  • Experience playing mid-core/hard-core video games.  As a player yourself, you’ll know how to tell a compelling story to our gaming audiences.
  • Must provide an online demo reel of recent relevant work demonstrating video, motion design and post-production skills. Applicants without a reel or demo work will NOT be considered.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Premiere CC in conjunction with other Creative Suite applications (After Effects, Photoshop, Media Encoder, etc.)
  • Strong PC and Mac general computing skills including basic networking and troubleshooting knowledge
  • Excellent multi-tasking and self-management skills, and also able to take direction and constructive feedback
  • Advanced knowledge of A/V compression formats and codecs, along with experience using encoding software such as Adobe Media Encoder and Compressor
  • Highly creative, detail-oriented and ability to work in deadline driven environment.  Cool under pressure and strong team player.
