UI/UX Designer (Team 1)

Do you find yourself restructuring the interface of the game you’re currently playing? Or that it’s easier to explain things through wireframe and flowcharts?  As a UI/UX Designer at NetEase Games North America, you will work closely with the Design team, the user experience team and the engineering team creating streamlined, cohesive user experience for our mobile game players.  The position will join our game team responsible for adapting successful Chinese games to the western markets.


  • Understand and build upon NetEase's mobile games' visual identity and sensibilities
  • Collaborate with the design team to create intuitive and elegant mobile UI, with the player’s experience as a focus.
  • Develop wireframes, create comps, storyboards, player experience flow, prototypes and design specifications to detail the user experience.
  • Work in both a development and a live-ops atmosphere, using iterative design combined with user feedback and analytics.
  • Provide user UI/UX design expertise to development teams.
  • Create design that can be consistent across multiple platforms and devices
  • Create animated prototypes demonstrating UI interaction models and visual effects
  • Create and implement user interface objects to the working game systems within the game engine environment.
  • Collaborating with a team of engineers and designers in the implementation of UI components
  • Iterate using feedback to polish features to an optimal efficiency and aesthetics
  • Make independent creative decisions and work with a team to execute


  • 3+ years’ experience working in mobile game design, with a portfolio of shipped Mobile games
  • Strong understanding of UI and usability principals
  • Able to work well with a team in cross-discipline, cross-culture and iterative setting
  • Understands technical implementations and limitations
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Passion for video games, and user interface design


  • Proficient in reading Mandarin Chinese
